At BHT, it is our mission to be a resource for employers. That’s why, in response to the growing importance of mental health in the workplace, we’re enhancing our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) well above the industry norm. Beginning July 1, we’re increasing the number of EAP visits from 4 to 6 per year and introducing psychiatric consultations, allowing employers to provide more comprehensive support for employees’ mental well-being. All at no extra cost to our members.

Expanding EAP visits ensures BHT member employees have ongoing access to free and confidential counseling, including in-person, telehealth and digital guidance for stress, depression, substance abuse, marital and family issues and legal or financial problems.

Introducing psychiatric consultations offers specialized care for complex mental health needs, reducing barriers to treatment and promoting early intervention.

We’re confident these enhancements will not only help employers prioritize employee well-being but also contribute to a healthier, more resilient workforce and organizational culture.

BHT partners with Behavioral Health Systems (BHS) to administer our EAP program.
