What We Offer
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Wellness Resources
Our partner Behavioral Health Systems provides BHT members and their employees with a robust Employee Assistance Program.
NEW & EXPANDED Employee Assistance Program for 2023
Good health goes beyond the doctor’s office! We have partnered with industry-leader Behavioral Health Systems to provide access to MORE providers and MORE types of services. This EAP goes beyond checking the box – but brings concierge service, coordinated care, and support when you need it most.
This benefit is offered at no additional cost for groups enrolled in one of BHT’s Industry Health Trusts.
This expanded benefit is also available to Business Health Trust groups enrolled in the Small‑Group Community Rated Program or Non-Medical offerings at no change to the current rate for employers.
Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a professional service providing assessment through Behavioral Health Systems. It provides short-term counseling and referral to appropriate treatment providers or programs when needed.
- 4 visits annually
- There are never any claims to file and EAP visits are covered at 100%.
- Your use of the EAP is completely confidential.
- In addition to referral for assessment, counseling, or medication management, your Care Coordinator can assist you in determining the appropriateness and availability of community resources (such as support groups) that might be beneficial).
Your EAP can help with the following issues:
- Stress Management
- Personal Relationships
- Marital/Family Issues
- Parent-Child Conflict
- Grief & Loss
- Coping After a Tragedy
- Depression & Anxiety
- Work-Related Problems
- Alcohol & Drug Abuse
- Life Transition
- Eating Disorders
Telehealth options are available for individuals who desire flexibility when using their benefits by contacting your Care Coordinator. Members can speak with a provider via computer, smartphones and tablets at their convenience.
