Mental Health Month
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. It is a reminder that many people carry more than we can see. Stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and substance use can show up as changes in mood, focus, sleep, and behavior. A simple check-in can make a real difference.
To support your team, we are sharing a one-page “Mental Health Check-In Checklist” in English and Spanish. It helps you recognize common signs, start a conversation without judgment, respond with support, and share crisis resources when needed. It also includes two practical tips: what to say (and what to avoid), and a simple follow-up plan so support feels real, not vague.
